Started five years ago, Creative Touch Tile is a shop specializing in unique and unusual tile coupled with beautiful design layout.  The owner, Pete Sandfort, moved to the Outer Banks from northern New Jersey where the tile market demands extraordinary quality and distinguished design.  Pete wanted to bring that market here.

With a background in art and design, Pete knew he could bring a new feel to the local tile market.  Pete purchased a small tile shop and began to build his vision.   Through contacts made in New Jersey, tile shows, and sales representatives, Pete was able to bring in numerous product lines, catering to all pricing levels.   Creative Touch Tile quickly outgrew its original space and moved to its current location.  

Pete continues to search for new tile lines and works diligently to make each project a unique experience.  The emphasis at Creative Tile Touch is placed equally on tile selection and design.
